Cold weather = cold (and flu) season. This turmeric latte, aka "yellow milk"or "turmeric milk", has been my sick day staple ever since my grandma used to make it for me when I had the sniffles. When I was younger, I was never into the mango lassi until one of my mango-obsessed besties showed me the way. Since then, it has been my drink of choice when dining at any Indian restaurant. The only thing is, I never know what is in them. How much fruit? Is it fresh? Is it juice? Added sugar? Buttermilk? CREAM? What even is a lassi?
