Chai Tea

December 20, 2016

HELLO HOLIDAYS! I will keep this post short and sweet so we can all get back to our festivities. Chai. A drink that can be done so many ways. At home, this is the way we make it, and we LOVE it. Since it is a more traditional take on chai, it will not taste like the chai latte served by your local barista (don't get me wrong, those are great too). Since it is easy to make a large pot, it's perfect for entertaining or just catching up with friends and family this holiday season.

Helpful Hints:

  • To get a richer taste and appearance, use evaporated milk instead of fresh milk

  • To break cardamom pod, can squish shell with a knife or between fingers
